Travel Wires: World Culinary Awards Ceremony to be Held in Bangkok

The winners of the 4th Annual World Culinary Awards will celebrate their victories at Mezzaluna State Tower at Lebua in Bangkok, Thailand on 31 July 2023.

World Culinary Awards (tm) is an annual awards program that celebrates and rewards excellence in the culinary world. World Culinary Awards (tm) are the sister event to World Travel Awards (tm), which was founded in 1994.

World Culinary Award (tm) is an award of the highest quality. It provides the winner with the perfect marketing tool for promoting their award-winning services and products. The awards ceremony for this year will take place at Bangkok's Lebua State Tower, the Mezzaluna restaurant.

The seven-course tasting menus of Chef Ryuki change according to the season, with one exception. Menu's one staple is his wagyu, which he calls "Exceptional Murakami", because it comes only from calves of high quality from his hometown. The calves are fed only rice, straw, hay and a carefully chosen compound feed. This results in a beef that is melt-in your-mouth tender and perfectly marbled. You can only get this kind of beef in Japan, or here at Mezzaluna.

Chef Ryuki takes the same care in sourcing every ingredient on each plate at Mezzaluna, from oysters to truffles and tea - many of which are exclusive to Mezzaluna.
