People often ask me why I became a chef. The truth is, I didn’t fall in love with cooking first—I fell in love with what food does for people. A warm meal can bring back childhood memories, gather a family around one table, or make someone feel at home after a long day. That feeling became the heart of Borscht Bros.

Together with my wife Elena, we built a kitchen where we still prepare every meal with our own hands and the same care we’d give our own family. We don’t measure success by the number of meals we serve, but by the moments we become part of.
